Coastal Koi Ltd Auction’s

1-All bids placed are binding and cannot be withdrawn during/after the auction.

2-Please take into account and bear in mind the number of Koi you are bidding on ,as you could end up wining them all.

3-Only bid if you can take delivery of the Koi as soon as the auction finishes or up to 1 week after, Thereafter, a holding fee applies of £25 per week per koi.

4- If a bid is received within 2 minutes of an auction ending, the auction will automatically extend by a further 2 minutes. This is to avoid last second bids, this is totally normal with all Japanese auctions that take place online, even in real life at any auction there is a period of “fair warning” before the hammer goes down, by having the auto extend function, it keeps it fair for everyone, not just the person or persons with the quickest internet, or fastest ability on their computer/phone.

– Upon winning, the winning bid will be taken from your card automatically. Failing this, payment must be received within 72 hours of auction end otherwise your account may be restricted.

– Under no circumstances can auction Koi be exchanged/returned.

– We shall not be liable for injury and/or damage incurred during shipping in the unlikely event of death occurring, you’ll receive a credit.

All Koi entered into the auction will be measured as accurately as possible but Coastal Koi Ltd will not be held responsible for any slight inaccuracies

– Failure to follow these T&C’s would result in a ban from taking part in these online auctions, this is to protect us, and all genuine bidders.

– Coastal Koi Ltd points cannot be used, or gained in these auctions.

Delivery and Collection for Koi

1- Koi will not be sent unless we have confirmed a delivery date with you.

2- Delivery days for Koi can only be on a Wednesday, or Friday this would be Via A.P.C Courier and a 1 off charge of £25.00 would be charged regardless of however many koi have been purchased in a single auction, we cannot be held responsible for unseen delays by the courier.

3-All Koi can be delivered the next day if the Koi has been paid for and agreed prior to 11.00am

4.- We cannot be held responsible if no one is available at your delivery address to receive the Koi.

5.If you do not collect the Koi by the date agreed we will contact you to ask you how you wish to proceed, if we cannot contact you or arrange redelivery or collection we will treat the Contract as cancelled.,If this happens, we will attempt to resell the Koi, however if unsuccessful you will not be refunded.

6 If the Koi is purchased between 1st April – 31st October, delivery or collection of the Koi must be within 1 week of the Auction ending.

7 Failure to comply with point 6 will incur a £25 per week per Koi holding fee.

8 We are not liable for injury or death of Koi when in our possession and if death occurs you will receive a credit.

9 Delivery will be deemed to have taken place when the Koi has been delivered to the delivery address indicated in your Order or have been collected by you (or someone identified by you) have taken physical possession of the Koi.

Cancellations

Consumers are legally entitled to a 14 day “cooling-off” period, within which the Contract can be cancelled for any reason, this period begins once your Order is complete and we have sent you your Order Confirmation and ends 14 days after you receive (or someone you nominate receives) the Goods.

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel the Contract within the cooling off period, you should inform us immediately by a clear statement in writing.

Please note you will lose your legal right to cancel under this clause if;

1-The Contract was formed following an auction;

2- The Contract was formed on our premises;

3-The Goods are sealed for hygiene reasons and you have unsealed the Goods after receiving them; or live Koi has left our premises.

We may cancel your Order at any time before we dispatch the Koi to you, in this instance a replacement Koi would be offered or a full refund.
